Solid wheelchair ramps
Unlike their counterparts in the temporary category, these ramps do come in handy because they are ever ready to use and require no preparation. You just drop them as they are and roll the wheelchair onto them, without further ado. They are used in areas where there is constant traffic of wheelchairs and other mobility aids like stadia and shopping centers. They are not foldable and therefore they pose no risk of folding over when in operation. They are fitted with one solid metal plate instead of flimsy hand rails.

They are very stable on the ground and they don’t need to be further reinforced with bolts and nuts therefore making positioning and relocation very easy. Manufacturers can design a ramp according to the client’s specifications and the design can be altered from time to time to suit arising needs.
